During the process of designing this typeface under the tutelage of professor Leah Toby Hoffmitz, I drew initial inspiration from type with gothic proportions such as Franklin Gothic. With its idiosynchratic characteristics in mind, I designed the Miggy Sans font, a regular weight typeface with robust proportions.
